By timing at least three consecutive shots while they are within the green area of the round meter, the player will begin to fire a bonus shot with each burst.

If the player collides with an enemy ship while having energy in the capacitor, it will discharge in an area-effect wave damaging all enemies in range.
Dashing into enemies amplifies this effect.
Colliding with an enemy with no energy in the capacitor will kill the player.

By holding down the fire button, the player begins charging for a devastating charge blast.

Early level concept. Low altitude flying against the entry-level enemy ships.
The backdrop and cloud layers scroll independent of each other and cull efficiently.

First boss is equipped with homing rockets.
The rockets use raycasting to track the player with often interesting results.

  1. This is an awesome idea for a game. I just played the latest demo and have found it has the same feeling as a fancy console game; the idea is simple, but the rules makes it exciting and different from all other games before it.
